Greenman Ritual

Join us for an evening of renewal and growth as we gather under the watchful eye of the Greenman. This ritual will allow us to plant both physical and spiritual seeds, embracing the energy of spring and the cycle of rebirth. As the earth awakens, we will honor the Greenman—a figure deeply rooted in history and folklore.
The Greenman, often depicted as a face surrounded by or composed of leaves, is a symbol of nature’s vitality and the eternal cycle of life. Found in architectural carvings dating back to the 12th century, his image has adorned churches, cathedrals, and secular buildings alike. While some associate him with ancient pagan traditions, others see him as a representation of renewal and resurrection. His presence in folklore connects him to figures like Jack in the Green and Green George, both tied to springtime celebrations.
Come and take part in this meaningful ritual, where we will embrace the wisdom of the Greenman and welcome the season of growth.
